Building Win-Wins: Our journey from idea to MVP in 8 weeks
In a former life, I led sales and product for a global brand—lugging sample bags, walking store floors, and selling multinational footwear into retailers across the world. Wholesale was built on relationships, in-person meetings, and long-haul flights. It worked—until it didn’t.
COVID-19 broke the traditional relationship only model. Retailers and suppliers scrambled to connect online, yet the buying process remained fragmented, manual, and time-consuming. For multi-brand, multi-supplier businesses, the complexity only grew: too many spreadsheets, too little visibility, and constant pressure on margins.
That’s where Andisor comes in.
We built Andisor to reduce complexity and improve connectivity across wholesale procurement. It’s a digital platform that lets retail buying teams streamline their sourcing workflows, collaborate more effectively with suppliers, and make faster, data-backed decisions, all while improving margin outcomes.
My background in sales gave me a deep understanding of the day-to-day pain points. My training in computer science gave me the tools to solve them. Andisor is the result of marrying that commercial intuition with technical rigour.
At Antler, I teamed up with Katie to test this vision. We interviewed buyers managing billion-dollar portfolios and indie stores running tight operations. Their message was consistent: they needed better ways to collaborate with suppliers, manage data, and cut down decision-making time. They loved working with product and ways to maximise sales, just didn’t want admin eating up 50% of their time. So we got to work.
Eight weeks later, we launched our MVP with 19 global brands ready to test it. We’ve since built a product that lets retailers scale smarter—connecting with suppliers, aligning on assortments, and managing procurement without the clutter.
